The gold is NOT glitter. It's a metallic (probably plastic-based) thread that's actually pretty soft and non-abrasive. This is kind of the ideal way to do shiny cloth without itching and shedding glitter or other horrible-ness. Take note of the super cute little ruffly bit on the back triangle!
