Offered as a place saver, is an ORIGINAL red, white and blule approx. 7/8" political election campaign badge, button, pin or pinback that promoted Thomas DEWEY Governor of New York and Earl WARREN of California (later US Supreme Court Chief Justice) as the Republican candidates for President and Vice President against Democrat Harry Truman (following the death of FDR Franklin Delano Roosevelt) and Alben Barkley in 1948.

As this is a lithographed pin there is admittedly rough considerable wear, however, it is still readable and I am sharing it FREE as a piece of history and a collectible political americana item until you find a better example. See apic.us for the American Political Items Collectors.
