Gold tone necklace (costume - this means it IS NOT REAL GOLD). It is very pretty, and has a vintage look and feel to it. The second picture is shown with a 12" ruler, so you can get an idea of how long it is. it goes down to about my belly button when I am wearing it. The third pic shows the design, and the last shows the clasp.
