The listing, Vintage Czech Glass Cameo Ring has ended.

Perfect condition. Just about size 5 & marked czechoslovakia. ca. 1920/30's. Never used/like new condition. (I don't know why I can't get pictures to upload. Rather than bid on this unseen, I hope someone will let me know why I'm having this problem. I made that request in my last auction but got a surprise instead: am still waiting for a response from bidder & still want to return credits.) I found no help from Listia.

I may be your firewall. I am new to Windows 7 and found that it wants to block anything going out or coming in. I had to log in as administrator and allow Listia through the firewall. Hope this helps ;~)

Are you going to ship this item, or will it be like the last person who bid on your auction and won........ Karma... The last person who won your auction has been in contact with you and wants the item she bid on, unlike what you posted here on your auction. Maybe tell the truth and be honest. Just saying.... Here is a pendant (no chain) from around the 1920's. (This is the 2nd day trying to post a picture. If anyone knows what the problem is, please let me know.)******* I was hoping for some insight from someone, not bids. I was unable to edit the listing & gave up. I've emailed the "winner" twice in hopes that she would be understanding about my my reticence to send out something never seen & that her credits would be returned asap. I'm relatively new on this site, haven't figured out all the "ropes" quite yet & am somewhat disappointed by this level of pettiness. I am however, aware of events that have occurred on other peoples lisings that I want no part of....you see...I know people too. I realize you're a friend of hers (otherwise you wouldn't even know about this) but my listing also states "no returns unless misrepresented". That opens up a whole new can of worms over which I would have NO RECOURSE in that the photo never uploaded. AGAIN, I WAS UNABLE TO EDIT THE LISTING; I could not add don't bid if the picture doesn't load. I pay for shipping send out the item & end up returning the credits. That just doesn't seem reasonable to me. Does it seem reasonable to you?

All of my pics are jpegs, the files aren't over sized & there is nothing wrong w/my computer. (Pictures just download forever but never come up.) I just started having this problem & I see a lot of unpictured auctions which makes me wonder if it's this site....because if it isn't, I can't really list anything here.

Well, finally....Pictures! I knew it wasn't me. I'm starting to think it depends on the time of day. (One of the pictures has spots on it...those are on the camera lens, not the ring. (Thanks Cat & Star, it was nice of you to respond)

Hi Calamitygin,
I had that problem when I started. What I discovered was that my wi fi signal wasn't very strong and the pictures took so long they load they often got dropped. I switched internet providers, got a stronger signal, and now everything uploads in no time! I thought it might be Listia at first myself, but it was my service that wasn't powerful enough. Very nice auction!!!!

Actually I'm not a friend i heard about it, when a person feels put out they share words about Sellers, or buyers so others don't get hurt or affected that same way. I meant you no offense i was asking nearly because i was worried about bidding. I am not going to sort out the truth just figured i get info from the source. She is not even on my friends list!?!However I DID respond and still are awaiting you to send out.As I made it clear I was not interested in a refund unless you were not going to honor it.So you sending out the item and me asking for a refund would not happen.You said that you had tried for two days to get pics to load so at that point you could have asked no one to bid.I will refresh your memory in case you forgot I did respond...twice.

I never was able to get pictures to load on this auction & am stunned that anyone bid on it. (There was nothing wrong w/the photos. They were not too big etc. & there is nothing wrong w/my computer.) This site sometimes takes a great long time to upload. I tried for days & finally gave up. Hoping for your understanding in this matter but I have no desire to send anything out sight unseen & this really is a Listia issue as I've found many people have had the same problem.The only way for me to return your credits is for you to make the request, I'll be checking & will return them asap. Hi Calamity,I bid sight unseen with only the description.I understand that.The auction never did state not to bid on it/that it would not be honored or I would not have bid.I have no need to ask for a refund as when I bid I understood it would be a surprise to me!You are right that Listia is running screwy lately.Yesterday I bid on an auction that the time was jumping down in threes and fours.It must be a server issue but it made winning that one far more difficult.Thank you,Brittney

I never said that you didn't respond. I have sent 2 messages re: I don't want to send out items sight unseen & have numerous reasons for my position on that. I'm going to try to get my email address to you & you can send me yours. I will then email the pictures & you will decide if you want the pendant at that time.
