The listing, 1856 Flying Eagle Penny 1 Cent BID NOW has ended.
I have had this in lock up for over thirty years. My dad had it before me,and my grandfather was the biggest coin dealer in the tri-state area.It is hard to take pictures of the details.
Hi seller, it looks like the coin says 1863 but you're saying it says 1856. Could you send me a close up view of this coin please so I know it is what you say it is and the auction won't need to be removed. I'm sending you an email to send the picture to now.

Flying Eagle cents have proved enormously popular over the decades, beginning with the pattern issue of 1856. It is unclear exactly how many 1856 cents were struck, but the best estimates fall in the range of 800 to as many as 1,500 pieces. Both proofs and business strikes were made
Two days left of this auction.I don't care what this coin sells for.I'm an old man, that just likes to have fun.I know all about this coin, and I'm studying people now days.I have been all over the world, several times. And have never in my life cared about the mortal dollar.I'm different than anyone on this planet today, that I have seen.I go into the public one day a month,to the grocier. And do not like what I see in this world. It is rare to see a kind, giving, sharing human being. And when I do,it puts a huge smile on my face. And the next thing that happens, lets just say, very few have ever shared the experience.I have been on the internet nearly 20 years. My computer has operated in many forests and deserts.I communicate well, until the other quits. Its not easy being Me.But I do not want to be like any other.Sometimes I talk to much, and other times not enough. All I really want to see,is everyone being good to each other.Sharing whatever they my have, opening there heart to whoever passes them. And most of all using there half of brain, the boss gave them. Love everyone, even if you don't like them. SO LETS HAVE SOME FUN
Ill tell you what this item is worth 200 - 850.00. Even if itsnot a 1856. This seller has great feedback and has been around awhile so there's no reason this coin goes under 150,000
You know if this is in deed a 1856 that even at its worst grade g-4 its worth $6,250.00 they only made about 2,500 these.they were pattern coins to the 1857 and the 1858 flying eagle.
That is the date I see on it,I know little about coins myself. And have no place to take it too.Its like anything else on the market, its only worth what someone wants to give.
