The listing, $25.00 - iTunes Gift Card has ended.
I have up for auction a $25.00 iTunes Gift Card. I have had this gift card for some time and called Apple to double check that the card still had the unused $25 on it. I have scratched of the back of the card to give them the number to check the balance. This card can be used to Download your iTunes content to any Mac, Pc, iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!
Questions & Comments
Shirley, I come from a long line of backbone. Sweetie, I was not only in the military myself but I am not married to my husband who is an MP in the Army and has been in for almost 15 years just shy a few months. LOL! I have plenty to share. Besides, I hate it when people get ganged up on when they are just getting their feet wet. I have been on Listia for almost two years now. I have seen and done it all. (Minus a tiered auction, just because I did not want to take the time to do one...yet.) Anyway, that person who quoted you that 1000 credits is $1 is completely wrong. Right now there is a sale going on for people who need to buy credits rather than going the auction way to gain them. According to the Listia page. "Credits Price (limited time sale!) 1,500 Credits $5.00 on sale! 3,300 Credits $10.00 (10% extra) 7,200 Credits $20.00 (20% extra) Popular
Here is the link to check those facts. =) http://www.listia.com/account/buy_credits
As for the ones who were giving you headaches, you have the ability to flag them. Which forces Listia to look at their comments/questions/auctions to see what the problem is. I already flagged two from here. I also block people immediately that give me headaches or give others headaches for no reason other than to get their way. Please check your email here and I will be glad to fill in. 16,000 Credits $40.00 (33% extra) Best Deal"
Lyn, Thank you this is just great. I feel so much better knowing that I have ways to avoid these situations. I am gonna check out that link I need to learn as much as I can. I kinda hate to hide comments because I don't know if other people can see that I hid it and then think I'm doing something wrong. I don't know just didn't know what else to do cause he just made me feel like I was doing something illegal (LOL). It's still fun no matter what and It keeps my mind busy so that I don't have my bouts of depression, or anxiety so often. Thanks for the info. Checking the emails do you mean the messages? I try to check both 2 or 3 times a day. Talk to you soon. Shirley
Never buckle when you have someone TELLING you to lower your days! (Especially when they have NO EXPERIENCE ON LISTIA!)
There are so many reasons why we use different amounts of days. In some cases, people only ship on certain days due to work, school, etc or because we want to make sure as many people can see the auction as possible. Because the longer the auction is up, the better chance that we have at getting more credits for the item due to more people seeing the auction. Typical marketing ploy.
If you have the ability to use a GIN and wish to do it so people do not have to wait that long... Spend the extra credits to put that feature to work for you. I commend you for how you handled those comments. Good luck on your auction!
Oh my goodness, thank you so much for all that information and your comment. I was so overwhelmed by people I didn't know what to do. So I just gave in. Your right though I have to get a better back bone. You are so right about giving it a chance to be seen. I am going to work harder at sticking to what I first decide. I was very disturbed about the person telling me that every 1000 credits is One dollar I didn't know that it was set in stone like that. Oh well, I so very much appreciate your comment. Best of luck to you on all your bidding auctions. Shirley
Shirley, no problem. Glad to help you sort it all out. It can be overwhelming to learn all of the rules, tips and tricks. To answer your question regarding if people can see that you hid those comments, YES. Where the comment is at, it is dimmed and you cannot read any text other than, "this comment has been hidden." Then shows the date and time of when it was hidden. So that is what we see on here. Don't feel bad about hiding those comments. There are some that truly need to be hidden at times. Use the block feature. It allows you to go to that person's page, and to the right top it says block user. It keeps them from contacting you and bidding on your items. So if you get a particular person who is just being rude/nasty or is spamming like the one "desdes" who is trying to get you to sign up with some website or something similar. I hid those comments and block those people. Just trying to keep my little bit of sanity and the fewest headaches in the future possible. Yes the messages you get in the inbox of Listia that have a copy sent to your email address you signed up at Listia with. I do check my inbox here frequently. I have Listia on my phone as well along with my regular email account, so I have no reason not to respond to someone. If you have issues with a person and cannot resolve them or feel you can attempt to handle them you have two options, block the person and/or contact Listia and let them handle it. Hang in there! It may not get better, but it will get different. LOL!
Lyn, Thank you appreciate the info about where to block someone. Haven't done it but you never know. I want to stay away from as many problems as possible. You have a wonderful evening and will talk to you soon. :) Shirley
