this wooden cigar box is by Romeo Y Julieta "Romero". box is hinged only in back, is swung open at front. box is red and white in color,red on the left side, white on the right side, box is rounded lengtyhwise in front. box has felt on bottom of box on the outside of box, good cigar box smell. dimensions are:10 inches left to right, 6 1/2 inches back to front, just over 2 inches top to bottom

i suppose if you want to paint it over you can, if you are asking if it has been painted over already, it came from the cigar factory this way.

no, the band that goes around it that looks like a cigar band, at first i thought it was painted on, but it is just a label that the cigar box company put on it. it is not covered in paper
