this is an ipod nano 8gb. i was given this and i dont think that the scroll wheel works. i have no idea why it dosnt but you can find some easy fixes. shipping to the us is 3 dollars.

try this to fix it
try a hard reset... hold the home and play/pause buttons together at the same time until the ipodgoes blank... keep holding until you see an apple logo and you ipod should reset and fix the problem

That dosent work, neither does master reseting it from itunes. Lots of people have that problem with this iPod.
