The listing, Vintage 12k Gold Filled Locket has ended.

This locket is marked on bale "1/20 12k GF". It has slightly under a 1" diameter. It snaps closed securely and holds firm. Very little wear, if any, for a piece of this age.

Don't know what happened to my question? I asked you stated " for a piece of this age". How old is this piece? Also what does it mean when you say " locket is marked on bale "1/20 12k GF". I would love to bid on this auction but I'm confused on what this stuff means. Please explain.

I'm sorry, I must have missed your question somehow....1/20 12k GF means that the locket is 1/20 12 karat gold.....gold filled lockets are very collectible because they look like real gold, because it is gold, but just 1/20th of it. It is probably from the 1940's to 1950's I believe....may be a bit older, I'm not an expert. It is definitely vintage, older than 20 years. Hope this helps.
