The listing, *~*~Vintage Barbie - Original Head on Second Generation Body w/Swimsuit, Clothes & Shoes!~*~* has ended.

The head came from a doll which had the pegged feet, the original body was destroyed by a clueless kid. Back of the head is marked with a "U". The body pictured is from a second generation doll, both head and body were acquired around 1966. The body is cracked, please see pictures for details. Body has detailed fingers and little knobs on the feet to hold the shoes. Comes with shoes and swimsuit from the same era. Shoes are in excellent condition and the swimsuits trim is frayed. This doll comes with extra handmade clothes!

This would make a fantastic addition for any Barbie collector!

I've been collecting since I quite playing with dolls- looks like you've got a very nice Mitzi doll to me. Barbie from that time frame would have the copyright markings on their bum- "Barbie by Mattel" on the really early ones, "Barbie and Midge by Mattel" on the ones from around 63 to 66.

I have a 2 that a mean kid used nail polish remover on her face. never had it repaired see what tours brings might [ put mine on Listia.
