Um. . . those look like standard Playstation 1 memory cards in the picture. Is there a possibility this could be a mix up?

i dont think so....i never owned a ps1. ..i double checked and they fit right into an old ps2 i have . i dont have the power cords to it to make sure they are in good working order but they were the last time i used them.

It'll fit in a PS2, I gurantee that. The reason why I say they look like PS1 memory cards is because there's a distinct difference between the Sony PS1 and PS2 memory cards. The PS1 cards have rounded corners on the front of them, while the PS2 cards are more squared on the corners, and aosl have 3 'bumps' on each side, where the label generally goes. Those have rounded corners.
As a means of example, here's a picture of my memory cards. To the left is the PS2, and right is a PS1 cards that is strikingly similar to the one you have on the left of your picture.

your link for the pic didnt work. now your making me wonder but im 98.6 percent sure they were for my ps2. now i havent had a working ps2 in years so these may be older ones. the blue ea sports one i know was for the ps2 because i remember buying that one for the madden games. and like i said ive never owned a ps1...ill go down to game stop in the morning and ask them about it.

Totally understand that. I've heard rumors, but have yet to be so unfortunate myself. *knocks on wood* Not saying it'll never happen, but it's a shame someone has to ruin such a unique site like this one.

its makes me leary of new sellers but you see something you want or need you just gotta go fot it. one of the ones i was burned on was for a cell phone and my screen on my phone just went out so i really needed that one and the other one was for a wii game. i was heartbroken over that one. listia needs to have a way of making bogus sellers hard drive melt.

Well, I certainly hope you contacted Listia regarding those auctions and got your credits refunded. The staff for this site seem to be very diligent in correcting wrongful acts on their site. So that is definitely a plus.

yes i got my credits back. they are very good about taking care of issues. but the site does need a little tweaking. seams like you have to do a lot of clicking to get to a page you need and it would be nice to have a fav seller list to refer to, things like that.
