My mother worked with Marybeth Tining in the 70s & 80s at a small restaurant and ice cream parlor named Flavorland that was located on Altamont Ave. here in Schenectady. I met her on several occasions mostly giving her a ride home from work as she and my mom both worked the same shift. She was very quiet and never said much. I can recall my mother calling me and telling me about the deaths. I was told that some of the girls who worked there called the police to report the deaths as being suspicious but they always said that the deaths were accidental. I went to the last 2 days of her trial in 1987. The DA did an excellent job.
