The listing, 25 cent Cancelled Owl has ended.

Used and cancelled 25 cent Saw whet owl on eastern hemlock branch. Released on May 28, 1988. The stamps were sold in booklets of 10 with of 5 owls and 5 Rose-breasted Grosbeck stamps, the first shared booklet for the US.

Chuck Ripper designed the stamp.

The Northern Saw-whet Owl (Aegolius acadicus) is about 7 inches in length with a 17-inch wingspan.
