Questions & Comments
going by buying credits is the estimated conversion im using...so i dont really see what you are trying to say...if i used the get it now feature, then i would be over spending, all im saying is your get it now price doesnt make ANY SENSE
You are not making any sense. I am trying to prove a fact to you, but you are choosing not to listen. Go to the Listia Rewards Store: http://www.listia.com/rewards and go to the Gift Cards section. Here you will see that all gift cards use the 1,000 credits = $1.00 - this is Listia's revenue model. You are the only person complaining about the price being too high. After viewing your profile, I can see why: level 1 user, 0 completed auctions, 0 feedback. Most users on Listia do not BUY credits, they EARN credits through their auctions. That being said, they do not purchase credits at the high rate that Listia charges. Buying credits through Listia is somewhat like a last resort - you usually only buy credits when you want to reload your account to bid on an auction that is ending soon - and if you get outbid, Listia gives you a full refund (up to 7 days). I suggest you become a valuable and active member of the Listia community before you go around clouding other people's auctions with your negativity, as that will only get you blocked by various users. If you don't like the price, you don't have to bid. Simple as that. Have a good evening, sir.
What conversion factor are you using? 1,000 Listia credits = $1.00. The GIN is not unreasonable at all. Check out other gift card auctions, and you can easily see that $1 gift cards for 1,000+ credits, $5 gift cards go for 7,000+, and so on and so forth. The only way that it would cost $40 to GIN this would be if you didn't have enough credits and you BOUGHT instant credits directly from Listia ($20 per 7,200 credits).
