Questions & Comments
The stamps pictured are used, not mint. Are you auctioning mint stamps or the used ones shown?
Mint means new condition.... This can mean new OR stamps that are used or cancelled(as mentioned in my description) that are in otherwise new condition. Stamps can also be precancel stamps that are actually new/unused stamps that were simply canceled by USPS and never actually used. "technically" Mint would apply to a stamp that is unused(precancel included) but many collectors label used stamps that are in "like new/unused condition"(non bent corners,no tears or folds) as mint also.Especially since most older stamps collected are used due to being old and/or rare. Thanks for your question,Guess it depends on the collector whether or not to consider a used/cancelled stamp in mint physical condition.I also collect coins and have coins that have been professionally graded as "mint" that vary in age but they are certainly not new....
