I have a *NON WORKING* dell laptop needs new hard drive or O.S. Someone may have more use out of it than me.

yes it turns on i havent charged it so didnt have time to turn it on an dig out charger but i have it charging now. wen it turns on it shows boot screen then says error loading operating system

This is one old system has 98 SE on it? You put ME/XP on this system it will run very very slow. This is an outdated laptop and would suggest a Free Linux OS on it.
