Yeah we do to actually. we just had our little group of sci-fi friends over last night and watched Stargate SG-1 movie the Continuum. We get together every two months for a themed potluck meal and stargate, star trek, etc. lots of fun.--Dawn

i have the movie and all but season 3 of the series, this is only one of the disks for season 3 correct?

we do bond weekends, john wayne, shirley temple and stargate takes all weekend to watch the sets lots of fun

that sounds like a lot of fun. I do a girls day on a friday or saturday afternoon every couple of months to watch a british movie or series or a foreign movie. We then have tea and coffee with scones, cucumber sandwiches etc. the sci-fi group is mixed male and female. most of our male friends aren't interested in the chick flicks as they like to tease us lol!

the first message, wish it was all season 3 but i will take what i can get...
second message, sounds great i love tea and scones
last, i tried adding my checking account to pay pal and they cost me over 800.00 in overage charges so i switched to the prepaid card and havent had any trouble for over 2 yrs with them now.
are you british? my hubby is from london..how do you make your cucumber sandwiches? iv never made any but have had them and liked them..

first message, I know what you mean, wish I had them all to.
second message, I love scones and though I could make them I prefer to buy them from Panera here in town. My husband and mother-in-law like hot tea, we all like ice tea and my father-in-law and I are the coffee drinkers!
third message. well my maternal grandmother's family was english, I'm a mix of that, native american and german lol! good ole american heinz 57 lol! my hubby's family has some scottish, irish and I think maybe english. but he to is good ole american heinz 57 lol! I think that is great he is from London. we've always wanted to visit England, probably will never happen, but we love the dream.
terrible they overcharged you. I didn't know they could do that. that would be horrible. Also in answer to cucumber sandwiches, I use a good bread either from a bakery or the store, cut the crusts off the cut in triangles or press out if it is a sturdy enough bread with small cookie cutter shapes, flowers etc,, I peel the cucumbers, use english cucumbers or hot house they taste better. after peeling run a fork down the sides for rideging effect. Then I sometimes use just real butter and layer the cucumbers, or use a cream cheese garden or herb mix or plain cream cheese and layer the cucumbers on top of any of these choices. Don't over layer the cucumbers you want them to pick them up by hand easily enough without the little sandwich comming apart. Now I can't say this is the way they do it across the pond so to speak but it's the american version lol! thanks --Dawn
