Yes. Kids bring them in to school. Then I trim them, count them, package them into groups of fifty and after a while I send them in. Each bag is worth five bucks. Twice a year the school gets a check. So far I have used my listia points to either get BTFE or Coke codes which can be collected and traded for art supplies and sports equipment for the school. Go Valley :)
That's awesome. I've always wondered exactly how these work. Kudos to you for doing that for your school. Does it have to be a school employee who does it for the school or can a parent volunteer for the position?
Usually its a parent, like me, but I'm sure any school would appreciate volunteer help. My school is a small K-12 school so sometimes I recruit bored high schoolers from study hall. Last I knew Box Tops had donated more than 73 million dollars to schools 10 cents at a time.
