Almost forgot.. would you accept the winner to send you a shipping label instead of money? You know, sometimes people have creidts to use with stamps.com and it's easier to print a label and send it to you instead of sending you money...

i use usps so it gonna go into a flat rate box, which is the priority medium flat rate box . which is $11.35 & $.85 tracking number. $12.20 flat rate box. Which ever but make sure if your the winner that your label says these numbers. Or just paypal it to me. I still have to drive to post office. & thats gas money right there I provide with the auction. Life isnt cheap :) anyhow, just let me know we will work something out.

ah the dreaded blue screen of death. the most reasonable option to fix this would be to completely reformat the hard then reinstall the Operating system on it.

If it doesn't show any GB for the HDD it is maybe because there is no HDD installed at all, did you check if there is any HDD in the laptop? If the GIN was a little bit more reasonable I would have GINned it... nice old laptops. :)

No, theres a harddrive installed yes. it just doesnt say what it is. I cant get the thing to boot. It wants to start , windows shows, then pooffffff it goes to blue screen again. it has memory, two chips one on both sides of the mother board. Has a harddrive etc. I just bought a power cord to try to fix it. Im upset that I wasted money on the power cord etc.. I was trying to fix it for my kid. But it wont start up right. So I pulled all my hair out and said heck with this and put it on lista. power cord inculded.

I had a simimlar problem long ago with my old inspirion 630 and then it appeared a faulty hardware, i.e. the cd/dvd had gone bad and as soon as we took it out and tried another one it was able to boot from the rescue cd and install win perfect. So it might be faulty hardware error too, you can find out if you check the error code it gives you during the blue screen and check with the microsoft knowledgebase. Anyway, I will bid, if I have credits, 'cause dell are worthy to be fixed and used, my sister in law needs a PC, so if I get thhis baby for her, she will be extremely happy.

i like your prior comment, "or toss it out the window is right" wow, some people just cant seem to appreciate that you DIDNT toss it out the window, but listed here instead, your being honest about it "not functioning properly" and your gonna take the time to drive it to the post office
