Yes. In its raw state it is used mostly in Feng Shui practices but once polished it is a beautiful gemstone used to make jewlery.

Bonnie, how much does this weigh? If you know the packaged weigh, fine but just the weight of the stone will be alright.

btw - in case you have another piece of stone of interest for lapidiatry or just a rock collection, photos come out super if done outdoors to use natural sunlight, and with wetting down the stone - especially for any cut or patterned surfaces - - this really shows up the character of a rock, almost any rock.

Thank you for the advice. I'm not sure I'd wet it down though because I don't want to give anyone a false impression of what the stone actually looks like. They will be expecting a shiney stone and a dull unpolished stone arrives in the mail. As for the weight, I honestly do not know and have no way of determining it. Sorry.
