I have a question. I'm not upset or angry, just have seen it a lost and am new to Listia so still have a lot to learn. Why do some auctions say free, like above this one where is says free pattern when there is bidding?

because you are not out any money. you dont have to pay shipping cost. it only "cost" you credits that re not money
