I'm not trying to be rude but if it is a brand new watch, why doesn't the battery work? I am interested in the watch, live in Georgia and if you will replace the battery I'd be happy to pay the shipping.

Brand new as far as never been worn or out of the package. The battery died because it was never used. I can't get to the battery without breaking the seal to see what it uses. I can put free shipping if that help?
