You have to put a new battery sometimes

it takes one AAA battery. Just don't remove the software file on it or you can not access the player again. It is 2GB.

I just read that DarrellBoSmith said dont remove the software file or you can not access the player again and you said the software is deleted.. Doesnt this mean the player is no good now?
