Hand made antique tatted doilies. Approximately 60 yrs old white in color. Very dainty and delicate. Photos do not do justice to the beauty of these.

Very pretty. So many picots too. These could use a re-blocking to straighten it all out.

Yes. but, there are no imperfections or loose stitching or anything, perfect condition other than the need for re-block.

I know that is why I just couldn't resist bidding. I am still fairly new to tatting but it is even more addicting than crochet. Too bad it has fallen out of fashion.

Those who appreciate are still out there-we're just busy starching & blocking what we already have!! Tatting does seem to be making a bit of a comeback finally. These 2 beauties are older than you think-I have original patterns for both of these and the book is from 1947. What's next on the comeback rail? Maybe hairpin lace.....
