This MP3 player powers on but shows a lock in the display
I don't know what happened to make it do this
Maybe someone knows how to fix this
There is no cord for it and the AAA battery will be removed before shipping

there is a hold switch on the side turn it off and then try turning it on. ur device is in hold mode. i own one that how i know this.

No charger, it takes a AAA battery

did the switch and turning off/on fix it or is it still with the LOCK symbol? what is the picture of the slot on the bottom, does it take a mini/sd card? Does/did it work fine before the LOCK appeared? Is there any music on it or is it cleared? Thanks for your time.

oh, just looked it up, it isnt for microsd, it is the usb to transfer mp3 files from pc, and the usb cord does not come with it, correct? Because I have a universal usb cord kit, but the opening there looks bigger than any of mine, idk.... Do you know what would fit it to transfer songs? Thanks.

I had one of these. Hold the power button in for I think it was 3 minutes to reset it. That should take the lock button off.
