FYI: Flights are used in the bar sport, darts. The flight fits on the top of a dart and helps the dart “fly” in the air toward its destination, which is called a dartboard. A set of darts usually comes with 3 darts, each with a flight, shaft, barrel, and point, aka tips (which can be soft, aka plastic, or steel.) As there are two types of darts, there is also two types of dartboards. People, aka throwers, who use soft tip darts, should throw with dartboards that have pegs, which catch the tips of the darts. Steel tip dartboards have felt that catch the sharp point of steel tip darts. Most dart competitions, however, use soft tip dartboards; therefore the best darts to go with are those. Though, you can always practice with steel tip where available. There are also conversion tips, which allow you to throw soft tip darts with steel tip darts, and vice versa.
