what is the lowest size it will go for?

It should fit an 8 inch wrist once it is tied on. I measure a finished bracelet at the top of the loop to the bottom where I stopped the actual design. I Leave enough braided strings at the end so anyone could leave it looser if need be. Hope that answers your question.
