In the amount of : $175.57
Payable to: " Receiver of Taxes Brooklyn"
Bottom left of check has Corlies Macy & CO INC 'P'D 95 & 97 William St. NY (a well known printing company from this time that manufactured account books and similar items)
Endorsed October 7th 1899 by David Austen Receiver of Taxes.
It also has the Orange 2 cent Internal Revenue Documentary Stamp on the center.
