This wonderful little Opuntia cactus is a relative of the "Prickly Pear". The potted specimen pictured is about 9 inches tall!!! It is a perfect miniature of the cacti seen in so many desert gardens. how long does it take to grow?

That depends entirely upon your growing conditions. The one pictured has been in the pot for three years. I have started many cuttings, and they grow quickly once rooted. About an inch a month here in the desert.

Do not worry--- these guys will be well-packaged and must be shipped dry---when you cut a cactus or succulent, you must wait a week before planting to let it heal. So it will come to you ready-to-go! Thanks!
