Yeah, it's made by a plastics company and it is NOT electronic. I guess it makes a noise as your drive. The wind blows thru it and it must make a high pitched sound. I am guessing here because I did not open it and it's brand new.

As one that has lived in Northern California and now in Texas I can assure you these are NEVER OFF MY CARS. They have saved my rump I cannot tell you how many times. I have NEVER hit a deer, only came close once and I believe the horns are what scared it back across the road before I hit it. Well that and I also firmly believe God had an even bigger hand in it.

Seriously folsk these are great I think and a must have in areas where there are lots of animals, like Texas. AHHH they are every where!!!!

Well I hope my "Speel" helps and now lets talk about sharing the credits to for helping you sell it, RIGHT? LOL Just kidding. In truth I really do think peoiple should use these so I thought my two or three cents worth might help.

I DID fail to mention my dad has never had them and is one of the most careful drivers I have ever seen, DRIVES ME NUTS TOO. He hit a deer and TOTALED his newer truck out. My mom hit two at once BUT she parted both in such a way all she got from them was their fur in the side trim on the same truck my dad totaled. She was freaking out. I think the deer weren't feeling to good either but she said neiterh moved they just stood there and she went SCREAMING by at 80 or so. LOL That would have been a bad one if she hit one or worse both of them. YIKES.

Any how, hope you get a good amount for these, they are worth it.
