The bottom says, "Letter F ,over the word Pilgrim, over SOLID PEWTER, over a crown in a diamond with J on its' left, and F on its' right, over 965, over 5-PINTS". I would say it is about a millimeter thick, not thick, not thin! But it is heavy. There are a few rub marks on it from years of use.
