yeah i checked it out on google ,an they say u can fix it all in an hour ,but the video on hw to fix it was erased off the page ,odd xbox's way of keeping the money in their pocket

Usually 3 rrod is from overheating but with the right parts u can fix them in less then an hour. Ive found a few walkthroughs online. I just fixed one a week ago.

no not at all and i would not suggest that either, all that does is resets the system for a couple of days and then they usually go back to three rings and eventually the one ring

turn it on wrap it in dry towels. maybe 4. leave for 30 Min. unwrap, turn off, let cool for 30 Min. I did mine 3 years ago. haven't had a problem since.

The towel trick can and will ruin it. It melts the thermal paste way way too much and can ruin the cpu and gpu solder

first of all dont use the towel trick or washers the RIGHT WAY TO FIX ONE OF THESE IS a reflow or reball. look it up. I fix these and that is the only right way to fix them
