The listing, ANTIQUE IRON CROSS PIN / INTERESTING has ended.

To start off with, I do not have much info. on this pin. I bought it @ an Estate Sale in Camden, Maine. The Sale was @ the home of an elderly gentleman that had served in the Army in WW2. I assume this because of the other items that were also offered @ that sale, which included artifacts & uniform bits & pieces from that era. I could be wrong?? He was a collector.
It's an odd old cross pin, that has a Lion type figure at the top & is in Fair condition. But it exudes mystery, charm, & Historic relevance!. Looks to me as though a bullet grazed the center area as there is an indentation there that would be indicative of that sort of trauma? Unknown type metal. Would look great on a Beret, Scarf or shawl, Lapel or purse to add a classic look.

f/w These were faux military rewards commonly used as steampunk jewelry now. They were manufactured in the 1930's so it does have some age to it. They are no doubt collectable. This is a great auction!!!!

It very well may be. I got it at an estate sale where the Owner had a large collection of old Military memorabilia from several eras. Some of his things were Austro-Prussian, French, German, WW1, WW2, Korean & earlier. Sooo, I'm not quite sure what slot this cross fits in? Interesting for sure.

u might get higher bids if there is another way to pay shipping. a lot of people skip over things if its not free shipping or another way to pay besides paypal. just saying
