FREE: Vintage Valentine

This is an awesome Vintage Valentine that measures about 9 inches tall by 6 1/2 inches across. He looks like Buster Brown to me.

The neat thing about this particular Valentine is that it moves. When you lift the nut to reveal the heart inside, his eyes in his head move back and forth as if he is "lovestruck." The only reason I am letting this one go is because I am keeping the matching girl the family sent.

You can see the wonderful color from the picture. This is not a reproduction, it's the real thing. There are no markings on it as to where is was made or printed but I have a whole bunch of different auctions up right now and all of them are from the late 30's and 40's.

This is not a mint condition card and not marketed as such. It was a card that was used on Valentine's Day and given to my husband's grandmother who was a teacher. It is in excellent shape with no tears, rips, or creases. The back of it is signed in black pen "To Miss Welckle From Norman, Myron, Melvin Frost"
