The listing, Silver Tea Pot Stamped Wm Rogers 800 with Creamer has ended.

This is for a Large Silver Tea Pot with matching Creamer. Tea Pot Stamped on one foot with a star then WM Rogers star then under that 800 Creamer is not stamped. Tea Pot weighs 37.9 oz. and Creamer and pot weigh 44.8 oz. The Tea Pot measures 11 inches tall.9 1/2 inches across from handle to spout. Inside the Tea Pot are 7 round holes shaped like a flower where the liquid can pass through to the spout. The Creamer measures 3 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches across from handle to spout. No dents or dings in either piece. Any and all questions welcome. All items come with tracking. All Listia rules apply. Shipping is via Paypal or Green Dot Money Pak. I don't know it says WM rogers 800 like in picture all I can go on is the stamp I have no acid to test with. I know it's old. You can Google it see what comes back. There were some on EBay.

Hi. This is a lovely teapot. I would have bid on it but the credit price is above what I have. However, I have been a teapot collector for years and actually have a Rogers item in my collection. The Rogers 800 mark indicates the maker (Rogers) and pattern number (800). The 800 pattern series includes several different pieces, even flatware. Also, it is silverplate, not sterling, but a very good quality silverplate, not cheap at all. While it is true that silver is heavy, the base metal used under the silver for plating is even heavier. All the Rogers 800 items are silverplate. BTW, are you sure it is a star in front of the Wm? It is hard to see in the photo. Might it be an eagle instead of a star? And then a star at the end of the Rogers name?
