Not a silly question. Mariano is a lock Hall-of-Famer so he is worth more than the average baseball card. But there is only 2 cards in this lot (if there were 4 I'd go at least 50 for a starting bid). Wade Boggs is a Hall-of-Famer so his card starts at a higher minimum bid). I guess just go by gut feeling at the time I list the cards. If something doesn't get bid on then I can always change the starting bid when it gets re-listed. I had an Eric Clapton CD that I listed with a starting bid of 5. No one bid on it for 7 days. I re-listed it with no starting bid and the winning bid was 113. You just have to feel your way around. Don't list your top stuff until you get the hang of it.
