Description

The listing, FREE MONEY!!!! $20 GIFT CARD TO EBAY OR AMAZON (SENT RIGHT AWAY THROUGH MESSAGE) GIN has ended.

In my original listing i wanted to offer free money sent to your paypal. Not everyone has a paypal so the ebay and amazon gift card was a choice for people that dont have paypal. Moderator told me that i was not allowed to send money to paypal. Dont get it because we send money paypal for shipping costs. I figured instead of listing items and offering free shipping, offer money or gift cards and save shipping cost. Will send the info as soon as item ends through an email as soon as you make your choice. Why not turn ur points into cash so u can purchase something else u want. Some things u cant find on listia. Any questions feel free to ask. Ty....

Ouch on the gin lol but I'll see how it goes & hopefully be bidding later on and you made an excellent point about PayPal . Shipping is offered thru PayPal so why not be able to send cash. I wonder if there would be a loop hole there somewhere like if you had a listing & offered to pay someone's shipping fees lol the auction prob would not go too high but I wonder what listia would do. But you can't offer pre paid visa cards either idk why but def an excellent point that you made :-)

My loophole is i take that as a request at end of auction if u know what i mean.lol. The reason why the gin is that amount is because my last auction was for 10.00 and that went over 13,000. You always gotta take in consideration that listia takes 10% of gin and 50 credits when u list with a gin. It sucks. I wonder what listia does with the points? Iys not like its cash like ebay.

I wonder that exact same thing, who gets our credits & where do they go? I understand about taking a percentage but do they get distributed to the developers of the site? I don't get it. & question? If your $10 card went for 13,000 credits then wouldn't a 35,000 gin be for a $30 card? Just wondering & btw not that it makes a huge difference but when you list a gin listia takes 50 credits but if someone uses the gin you get the 50 credits back you don't get them back only if no one uses it & it goes all the way till the end of the auction. If you are listing this for a $30 card then this should gin pretty quickly but I'm not sure why the credits have gotten so out if control with the gift cards a couple months ago they were dollar for dollar or dollar for credits lol last year a $10 card was only 5000 or so credits & a $5 card was 2500. What happened??? Lol

I didnt know u get the 50 credits back. Thanks for the info. I just figured i spend alot of money on shipping so why not give it away in an auction and u dont have to ship. Its weird to me how credits go on here. Some people geys lots of credits for stuff that isnt worth anything and others list new name brand stuff and they hardly get whats its worth. Ive learned my lesson cause one time i listed a 300.00 brand new burberry wallet and only got 17,00 credits for it. I couldve sold it on ebay. I was so disapointed.

It is cash if people BUY the credits from Listia to bid on something.

I know but 16,000 credits is 40.00. Alot of people dont have money but have stuff to get of so its easier for them

F&W even though I don't have the credits lol

And I think I know why they charge credits to list a GIN option. The thing is, with people buying and earning credits all the time, eventually there are too many credits in the system. The value of the credits drops. That's why you used to be able to get a $5 gift card for only 2,500 credits, but now you have to pay over 5,000. The inflation is fine until peole start feeling like everything is way to expensive and they're not getting their money's worth when they buy credits.

So then Listia needs to have a way to take credits out of the system. That's where the GIN fees come in. They don't do anything with the credits, I think. But apparently that wasnt enough so now there is a rewards store.
