The listing, LookBook *Read B4 Bidding* has ended.
Kobo Loobbook Ereader with charger
This is relatively normal ereader except it has one problem. A few months back, it somehow got stuck in read- only mode. I've tried to reset it but it still was stuck in the same mode. Not sure if the system became currupt or what, but if you can fix it, you can have it.
As is auction with no refund. That means if you bid without reading (as i pointed out in the title) I will not void your bid.
Questions & Comments
Do you take PayPal? Can you still put books on and read them?
The problem is that it somehow got stuck into this "read only" mode. Usually you'll see a button or featuire that causes this function. I cannot see any. "Read only" dfoes not alloy writing of any kind on the device. I cannot remove the books I put on it at the time and I cannot add any either. That's why I only recommend this auction to people who are really good at solving these kinds of issues. I don't want any1 to bid and get the item, then cannot figure out how to get it to work.
Yep, tried all of that. I charged it. Plugged it into the computer and tried a few things. At first I thought the system was corrupted because at first I often got an error about parameters but lately I have noticed the read only errors more. After more recent observations, I've pretty much narrowed it down to the "read-only," which would explain the reason why it refuses to delete the book files I don't want. I can try via computer or device, the result is the same. The only thing that stumps me about that though is that it will appear to discard the book until you ....plug it back in, recharge, browse and return, reuse usb, etc, etc.
Like I said, definitely not an auction for amateurs. But somehow, I think this and the "parameter" and "read-only" errors are related. I believe this is fixable, but I am not capable nor knowledgable enough to discover the issue myself.
It came with a charger, case, and usb. I'm not auctioning the case. As with all my auctions, I only add the usb if the buyer says that they want one. I have several but I have friends who have 2 or none. Necessecity varies per person, so if you need it, then yes, I will include the usb. Just inform me after auction is complete.
