The listing, Old Skeleton Key has ended.

I found this old key amongst my great grandmother's things. They built their last house in the 20s, so it could be from that. However, the property had an older farmhouse on it that they tore down. If you are a key collector you may know the age better than I.
There is a small 3 etched in the head, that I've only just noticed after this picture was taken.
Also, it seems like it's magnetized..? I laid my iPad next to it and the key dragged with it a bit. Maybe, it was the iPad, maybe not..

No GIN for this item. I've noticed a demand for these keys so I'd like to see how desirable mine is. Happy Bidding :)

I am in my late 20's and I can still remember leaving our doors unlocked alot even we weren't home or at night. We didn't have central air system(in Georgia) so all our windows were wide open all summer I lived in the country though. We never worried that that either. It's so sad things will never be that way again or that simple.

Will you be auctioning the finds you are going through in the basement? In argentina they still use these keys, brass and good locking security. But I always leave the door open, to let in the good!
