Brand NEW Doggie Coat, Size Small; 12" to 13 inches, measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. From Wal-Mart, supposed to fit "Miniature Dachshund, Norfolk Terrier, Toy Poodle; Spot Clean Only." Measuring it on the retail card it's on: 11" length by 8" width across one side, if that helps...
This stunning coat is kind of a Herringbone pattern black/white w/ 2 velcro straps on the underside, w/ a "faux" fur collar and belt w/ 2 big brass buttons, check pics. A line of piping decorates across the back, also.

is the size small like lap dog (pug) or would it fit small dog (terrier)

It measures to fit 12 to 13 inches from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, good for miniature dachshunds, Norfolk terrier, and toy poodles, to give an idea. I am not very good at guessing, but I would think just judging by the size of miniature dachshunds, that it might be closer to the pug size...? I don't know why they don't make a suggestion as to the measurements"around" the dog; that might help, too. Thanks for asking & GL if you decide to bid...
