Will the USB and SD plugs work with any kind of USB/SD slots, even if they aren't on a Mac?

To be honest I don't know if it will work with others. I bought these when I had a iBook G4 and didn't realize its said Macbook. It didn't fit any of the holes so probably not but not exactly sure.
