as to golfcartgirl, I tried to find markings, but the clothes were on her securely, and I don't want to rip or break her. sorry. I DID try, but am not willing to risk her condition to find out.

I took her to an antique shop and they had a word for her material.
It wasn't plastic, whatever it was made her of value. I'm sorry. That isn't much help. A doll collector or antique person would know. sorry, I'm not either one.
