F&W this may be a crazy question but I have not gardened since I was a child with my grandmother..do seeds have expiration dates on them? lol

Not a silly question at all. I did a lot of research on this just now and have learned that veggie seeds seem to have a longer shelf life than flower seeds. Seed companies began putting sell by dates on their packages just about six years ago. The seed packets I have all were packaged for this year and say best if sold by the end of this year or 12/31 I researched on many gardening sites to find that people are continuing to have great results with seeds well after the sell by date, which is not an expiration date. So I am pretty sure that you would be fine bidding on this auction as well as my flower seeds if you planned on using them this year or even in 2014. Thank you for asking as I love finding out things like this, since I truly had no idea myself.
