I would make a recommendation - Swflbargainbin - Block this person and hide the comments. That was rude of them. I've used magic Jack and seems you and I know much more than they do.

It is the original magic jack. It is deactivated and can be reactivated. Just plug into usb on computer and will install by itself. I will e-mail my login and password so you can enter and get it installed there you can change to your own. I never upgraded to the plus. I just pluged it into my computer. Works fine.
Any other questions please ask.

okay thanks. Just wanted to make sure because if you upgrade to the plus when they have it on sale online thru the website if you make a boo boo you can't use your old one anymore. Really sucks because it makes the old one like a piece of junk. Just wanted to make sure.

okay thanks. I wanted to make sure because I accidentally selected the option to have my old one deactivated and would like to get this one for my sister as a gift. She has been wanting one.

hannah1020 - for magic jack you have to have a computer desktop or laptop and a broadband service DSL/Cable Internet. WiFi will work but you must use a standard handset instead of cordless unless you have power where you are sitting. The Magic Jack plus goes both ways can be plugged into the modem/router on your broadband service or into your computer if you are at a WiFi Hot Spot and have a handset to make/receive calls.

Magic Jack/Magic Jack Plus has the following features:
Caller ID, Call Waiting, Voice Mail both calling your # and getting a copy via email to listing to on your computer and local/long distance calls through out the USA.
The cost is a per month fee of your ISP and a One year or Five year Charge after purchase. When you First buy a Magic Jack you get the device and 1 year of service once activated. Hope this answers any other questions.

No Problem for the info but the reason i stated for Wifi hot spots using a Corded Phone is because some hot spots don't have Power available and depends if you are going to use the phone for a long time having extra power wires hinders mobility for the laptop so using a corded phone at WiFi Hot Spots is my suggestion. Unless you have a Cell just use it LOL. Good listing. Need any other help IT Based drop me a personal Message.
