"Gatchaman" VHS (unrated), aka "Battle of the Planets" in the United States, was a popular anime series akin to Voltron, Bionic Six, Power Rangers, and Silverhawks. Also known as G-Force and Eagle Riders, because of their bird-like presence.

If you remember Battle of the Planets, then this is a must-have. The original producers remade the 1972 series in 1994, updating it for a more modern audience. The production was otherwise excellent with updated machine designs that are incredible, and the team is outfitted with new and sometimes bizarre weapons, and their flying/fighting scenes are astonishing. The animation is breathtaking.

This is a RARE video. Too bad they didn't release more. This is the only commercially available piece of Gatchaman/G-Force merchandise in the United States. I've watched my copy several times and shared it with several of my friends. Amazing stuff!
