Is there a dry battey message before the file it will say the internal battery has run dry clock based will no longer occur however game can still be played if it does not say it right before tue file the battery is fine

If it has a battery then it's fake! Only the ones actually made by Nintendo have a memory chip.

Yeah a lot of these games are confusing. They make the fake ones over in China and they look just like the real thing until the battery dies and it doesn't save anymore lol.
