no it is not a smart phone. it is an lg dare, but it does have internet access if you want to use it. you just have to pay for it

sorry for the confusion. i had originally posted this for flat rate shipping but then decided to ship it free after someone bid so i could not delete the part thats says they have to pay lol. thats why i posted the update above
