Out of curiosity, are these smaller than the average tennis ball? You say "small tennis balls", so I'm wondering if they're half the size of a normal one, or a 3/4 as big. Thanks for the help ;)

they are about the size of a half dollar coin I'd say about 1" in size

yw and yes thats most likely the reason and would not use for any dogs unless toy size or small pups
