AW! Is that a little Ball Python ur smoochin on? :)
My little grand daughters have a sweet Ball Python~I'm the reason they took an interest in exotic snakes & their mom just wanted them to have one they could handle well :) Years ago I rescued 2 common boa's + adopted a Reticulated Python & a Burmese Python when they were just a few weeks old. Both grew to 14 feet & Burmese was near 100 Lbs but Retics don't get as heavey. All were gentle & loveable as a kitten! In fact, my cat would follow them thru the house & bat at their tails but they'd just ignore her :) Had to rehome them all when our town established an ordinance against owning exotic pets within the city limits but they all went to wonderful homes. Burmese even fathered 70 babies with a female much bigger than he was! :D
Aww that's so sweet! I actually got into snakes to work over my phobia of snakes. Next thing I knew I was refusing to allow that one to be taken back to it's home because I figured out she was malnourished and had poor muscular tone. Poor thing couldn't barely hold her head up for long even after she ate! Now, she's almost a different snake it seems! I fell in love with them once I got it completely through my head that there was nothing to fear with these guys. My daughter is great about it too, she was developing a fear and now she tells everyone about our snakes. I also have a second Ball, he's a little bit bigger and wasn't malnourished at all, just came through our herp society needing a home.
