hello, Is this used with a battery or plug in? Could I use it for a slideshow in a Drs. office with no wires on the reception counter? a gift.

It is a plug in, there are both an SD & Compac Flash port on the side. i Plued it in, and it dose show a slide show feature with many options. but when i plued in an SD card, its said it was now active. went to the web site and Step 1. Register Your CEIVA
